Graduate Student & Postdoc Industry Recruitment Events:

Virtual: Monday, September 21st, 2026 on Handshake 12:00 pm - 4:00pm ET
In-Person: Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 in the Great Hall at the Ohio Union 1:00pm - 4:00pm ET

Registration for the IN-PERSON GSPIRE will include:

  1. One 6-foot table, 2 chairs, 2 parking passes, food and drinks
  2. Included Access to Graduate Student and Postdoc Resume Book (soft copy file shared with industry registrants 1 week prior to the event)
  3. Assistance with scheduling interviews on-campus or virtually via Handshake in the weeks following the event
  4. University-wide promotion of the event to ~625 Postdocs and ~11,000 Ph.Ds and Master's students at The Ohio State University

Registration for the VIRTUAL National GSPIRE will include:

  1. Paid Access to a resume book (soft copy shared with industry registrants 3 weeks prior to the event, not included in base price)
  2. Assistance with virtual session scheduling
  3. Utilization of the Handshake career fair platform that provides each company with group information sessions (capacity=100 students/session) and one-on-one video conversations.  Sessions offered are only limited by the number of representatives you assign to the fair and the duration of the fair itself.
  4. Nationwide promotion of the event via the Graduate Career Consortium and the BIG10+ Consortium, as well as our growing national network of colleges and universities.

Combination Deal

Employers who register for the in-person career fair can also register for the virtual fair on September 21st at a reduced cost. 

NOTE: Employers who pursue the virtual event or the combo deal will be required to have a virtual session schedule (whether 1-1 individual sessions, group sessions, or a mix of both sessions) created in Handshake by no fewer than 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled event.
